A day after the world press freedom day, focus now shifts to the task force given the mandate of setting up a body of professionals that will facilitate self regulation. The task force says that it cannot give a specific time frame to when this can be achieved as a lot has to be done before then.
He task force says it’s not just about setting up a body but going down to the details and working on the specific roles that the body will have and how to go about implementing them. The task force says there are some media practitioners who are for the idea and there are some who need more elaboration and as such much more consultative session will be needed.
