Five people are reported to have lost their lives, while 37 others survived as the boat they were travelling in capsized at the shores of Lake Kivu Wednesday.
According to the police spokesman Theos Badege, the boat capsized after it collided with another boat on shore.
Meanwhile various government officials including the prime minister are reported to have Thursday visited some of the victims who got hurt from this latest ordeal at the Rubavu hospital.
