New Cabinet to be Sworn in Tuesday

All the new members of the cabinet are expected to be sworn in later today. Last week, President Paul Kagame re-shuffled the cabinet and brought in new faces to the line-up with a number of former ministers appointed to other senior positions. 

Some of these new members are Albert Nsengiyumva who was appointed Minister of Infrastructure, Francois Kanimba, the former Governor of the Central Bank who was appointed as the Minister of Trade and Industry, Senator Aloysia Inyumba, the new Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office in charge of Gender and Family Promotion, Venantia Tugireyezu who takes over the post of Minister in the President’s office, Pierre Damien Habamuremyi,the new Minister of Education and Dr Agnes Binagwaho, who was appointed the Minister of Health.
