US President Barack Obama has called on the Pakistani government to investigate suspicions that Osama bin Laden had a “support network” inside the country before he was killed by US forces at his hideout in Abbottabad.
Obama said that they don’t know who or what that spport network was-whether there might have been some people inside of government or outside the government and that is what has to be investigated particularly by the Pakistani government.
Pakistan’s government has “indicated they have a profound interest in finding out what kinds of support networks bin Laden might have had,” according to Obama but added that these are not questions that are going to be answered within several days and it’s going to take some time since it involves investigation what they were able to gather on the site.
